This may be a joke but I'm agreeing. It's always a good laugh watching a bloke look as if he's about to **** himself and obviously thinking to himself "come on Audley, you can do this. This is your destiny". Then he throws a punch with so much hope and belief. Rinse, repeat.
Defensive maestros & swarmers. This guy always makes me smile [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3LEKHMUCh8k[/ame] This guy always makes me want to fight [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wcwalp0TRfc[/ame]
For me, I have a penchant for awkward beasts. Here's two of 'em fighting now. [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kAYfKnqn4Iw[/ame] I also like innovative, all-round 'formless' fighters. The kind of guys who can do anything, without being your average 'boxer puncher' type. Jung Koo Chang, Roberto Duran and Luis Manuel Rodriguez being three examples. Although I do think it's no mistake that my two favourite fighters (if you put a gun to my head) are THE MAN: Joe Louis, and a man who idolised the former, Alexis Arguello. Fairly plodding feetwise, but dynamic and accurate composite punchers. In short, I like a lot of styles (and can appreciate pretty much all the non-***** 'ole ones) but there are a few that really make astound me. Of course, everyone has their own inflections when utilising a particular style.
One of the most awe inspiring stylists is Kalambay IMO. Every time I watch him I have a cheesy grin on my face, truly sublime. Jab, defensive radar, offensive variety, economic but elusive footwork, a truly s(l)ick fighter.
