i already know haw fast wlad is.. though i do expect him to be a little faster for haye. not by much though. after a couple of rounds, he'll go back to being slow and robotic.
Nice to see a heavyweight fight where both combatants are in shape. Wlad looked very serious at the weight in, can't blame anyone for being intimidated by that man mountain. Haye's smiles may have been hiding some nerves and who can blame him.
Yes Quicny, you heard him right and it wasn't nonsense. There are fast twitch, neutral twitch and slow twitch muscles and by doing alot of explosive work on a particular muscle turns all neutral twitch into fast twitch and make you quicker. That is what Lennox was referring to
The weights don't tell much comparatively but they do say about each fighter: They have worked and are in good shape. Evander Holyfield was about 215 pounds in his rematch against a 240 pounds plus Riddick Bowe in Nov 1993 and he won based on movement, in and out, always being first to hit. Wladimir is always in excellent physical shape of course. However, Haye is and in my opinion, in his best physical shape since moving north of the 200 pounds limit. This weight should enable him to move and still give him strength to hit and sustain blows.
really? doesn't wk have over 50 professional fights? didn't wk win an olympic gold medal? can someone here explain the logic that haye is smarter than wk in the ring?
