Haye's mentality could be crucial in this fight. He's grown up so much since the Thompson defeat and just doesn't look like someone prepared to lose. He showed it vs Mormeck and seems to mentally be the more comfortable of the 2, just like George Groves was against Degale.

Let's hope he does it, could be a massive night for British boxing!!

That Haye doesn't hit hard enough to put Wlad on the backfoot.

I think we should be encouraging casuals to watch more boxing rather than making fun of them for not appreciating the finer points of the sport, or making absurd comments.

Some people take a very elitist approach.

NO ............simple as pal, i am a fan of boxing if my country was playing football in my front garden id rather watch an old fight on my 50", i have been to see lewis in london, pacman in vegas, paid for flights, hotel and tickets to see hamed fight ingle, i went to see tyson fight nielson, many other events i have travelled to see and they varied from race and origin i love boxers no matter what race or origin, btw mexican and puerto rican fans are far more knowledgable than your ****stani fan who resides in islamabad, boxing is rooted into those countries history whereas the same cannot be said for ****stan, and also aint nothing wrong with fans believing their fighter is the best when there is a chance he is, khans fans dont seem to gauge how far apart khan and mayweather actually are because they aint got a clue about the sweet science

your ok you contribute to other things on these forums apart from khan, the post was not aimed at you so if you could refrain from trying it on next time and stop pulling the race card its pathetic

:deal Though it is frustrating when casuals come out with some absurd shite and don't accept they're wrong.

I'll be watching this with a few casuals as well :scaredas:

Anyone watch the half an hour segment they just did on Sky Sports News? Was quite good, Craig Slater went round lots of different boxing people in a bar asking their opinions on the fight and talking tactics. Paulie Malignaggi was there which was abit random and im pretty sure Jim watt was drunk.

It can be frustrating, you're right.

Look up the "things friends say about boxing" thread, I had a read through again a few weeks ago. I even added my own entry or two. It's all very :patsch

Such as 'Oh it will be easy, Haye will destroy him' You try your hardest to tell them that hes very much the underdog although he has a great chance.

Worst bit is if Haye wins I'l walk into work on Monday and get 'I told you he would wallop him!':fire

:deal There's also a line between Casuals who comment on what they see and are normally wrong, fair do's if you have a discussion about it, and ones that watch 2 fights a year and think they what they have said is gospel.

I've had someone say to me "Haye's going to lose, I just don't think he's very good."

This person has never watched a Wlad fight before.

Think Wladimir's nervous energy will be even worse so if this fight does get past 6 boy he could become very ragged.

Feeling confident Haye will win before 6 though.

Haye's dark energy is going to be the deciding factor:

kosaros can you remember that thread a while ago about Haye/Booth double teaming the Hayemaker ring card girls and talking about Booth's mysterious energy? This was at least 2 years ago. I can't find it for the life of me. Would make for interesting reading if you know the title?
