What a load of bollocks. That is up there with your comment of "Is HD that important for PPV? surely seeing the event live is the main draw......".

You don't seem to comprehend that the more you put **** like this on here, the less likely it is people will actually want to buy your event.

Would you rather that Sky had a clear run, no competition? I wouldnt pay a fiver to watch Khan fight at 4am but I am sure there will be many that will and why hate on a broadcaster that is giving people choice. You don't have to buy it!

Well it isn't a fiver is it, it's £17.50 (or for the minority who have bought one before from them £14.95)

That aside, I don't have a problem with them existing. But what does annoy is the fact they come on here posting attempting to sell it under the guise of them giving a **** about boxing beyond making money. That crap belongs elsewhere.

I liked Primetime for stepping up to the plate when Froch was struggling with having an actual spastic as his promoter but to try and sell **** like Khan - McCloskey as PPV after Sky(the same people who thought Khan - Salita was PPV) have already refused it as box office is ridiculous.

Competition is great but primetime isnt really competition is it? I have seen Carl Froch more times on tv this week than I ever saw him when he was on primetime. Its all about getting in the sporting psyche of the nation and with primetime that does not happen.

I bought all the Froch fights that they showed and if they hadnt shown them we wouldnt have got them and I didnt mind paying my one-off extra £2.50 when I order the Froch-Dirrel fight. As for Khan, I really couldnt give a **** what they charge as I wont be buying his fights.

And the bit about them caring for boxing, only a mug would take that it in, they are just trying to hype the fight and their channel, you cant blame them - they are there to make money, and if they dont then they will go the same way as Setanta.....

Well, Primetime have the same owner as Channel five. They are showing Del Boy-Fury on Channel five and then Khan is ppv - it will be interesting to see how all of this works out in the short term.

I dont think they are serious competition to Sky as Sky are just far too big, but they might just prove to be a viable alternative and if you read the editorial of this months Boxing Monthly - Glyn Leach makes the case that there could be changes ahead for boxing on our screens....

A repeat of the fight a week later on top of that on 5 would be a good way to promote the channel, as if its a good fight people with think they missed out on seeing it live.

such a shame with Khan, if he stayed on ITV until moving to Sky for his world title shot and Box Office thereafter he would have been a huge star I think (even with the Prescott loss-millions of casuals loved him during the ITV days)

oh no, primetime and team khan really scraping the barrel now-tricking REALfans with the most expensive competition scam i've ever seen--:-(
you would have got more buys running a proper comp!
there's a reflection of the way that team khan have alienated fans and sky in the way that you have aproached fans on this site primetime:bart--you belong together and you can't pull the wool over our eyes,,:nono
    ,,so :hi:

wow this guy has only come on here to offer people a chance to win a trip to vegas and he gets slated its getting crazy in here lately
imo this is a godd deal as anyone who was going to buy the fight now has a chance (admitedly a slim one of winning a holiday)
i feel alot of these comments should go in thread discussing if the fight is worthy of ppv not in here

It's a boxing discussion forum, not a place for these ****s to advertise their bull**** PPV. If they want to do that they can pay ESB for ad space.

How do we know that there's definitely a winner to your 'competition' anyway? :think
