    Round 2

Bey is working well with the double jab and lead left hook, setting up enough soaring rights to keep Rodriguez honest. Consistent defense by Bey as well when Rodriguez comes hammering in, more tentatively now than in the 1st. Rodriguez starts holding both arms out together spaced a few inches apart to try and trap the jab of Bey. A few misses by Bey as he circles in close with a left hook and right uppercut as his feet are moving. He settles down and starts working that jab, mostly in doubles and often with the right hand behind it.

    20-18 Bey

Not impressed with Bey. Mediocre hand speed, very little lateral movement and not a great puncher. Throws wide punches and keeps his head straight with no movement.

I dont see the andre ward in him. Impressive amateur credentials but doesnt look like a promising pro.

So far I am very impressed by Bey. He has work to do obviously, but he Reminds me of a tough old school fighter.

    20-18 Bey easily

I wonder if Bey quit throwin' such a sweet ****in' double jab, if Mayweather Sr. would tell him to "double the ****in' jab"?

    Round 3

Nice counter combos by Bey, who starts to snap back the head of Rodriguez. The Mexican is fighting more defensively now, jumping back and holding his arms up by his face. Bey is finding spots to hook around the gloves and knock hard on the skull of Rodriguez. Several shots stagger him and loosen his neck. Bey keeps patiently doubling his jab looking to set up any power punch he throws. Sloppy 1-2 by Rodriguez is blocked. Rodriguez leans in and tries a wide hook that lands around the back. Bey is thrusting off with his shoulder to keep Rodriguez in punching range.

    30-27 Bey
