I find myself agreeing with OP. The truly sad, sad thing is that even 10 years ago this would have been a good fight. Not a great fight. I suppose HBO knows this as well which is why its on HBO championship boxing not HBO PPV. The reason everyone is so excited about this fight is that for too long the heavyweight division has not delivered AT ALL. Fans of this sport are loyal to a fault. Unfortunately the business end of the sport knows this all too well.
Wlad has the best jab since holmes. That people dismiss it says more about the fans than it does about the boxers.
