Carl Froch's media career

Sky really plugging him now. I like his style and some of the demonstrations he has done have been very good and insightful.

 

Agreed, he is a very bright fella, he needs to stop tapping his feet when sat on a panel though. Nobody can question him on his career so he also has bags of credibility on top of knowledge and a vocabulary. He should finish Ringside with a little song each week.

He must be over the moon he is back in with Sky now, profile has went fair bit upwards since then.

Damn site better then Lennox who baffles me and i'm sure baffles himself.

Froch's changing room segment was good you can he's nervous fighter from way he spoke about what he does before a fight.

 

I was never that convinced by his comments that he doesn't really follow the game, he's always sounded knowledgeable so think it was just trying to sound a bit cool and diffident.

That said, when he does say something Carl he says it with intensity so you can't help but listen and as said above you can't knock his achievements

 

Sky want Froch to be a star, no doubt about it!!

cmopare him to hatton who looks flabby and sick and coked out of his brains and who can barely communicate in the english language

 

I actually quite like listening to Hatton, he handled himself well on Ringside I thought alongside heavyweight pundits Watt & 'let me finish what Im saying' McGuigan.

I enjoyed that. He came across like a guy who'd box for free if he had to just for the love of the game.

 

it's looking good for the cobra. i love the piece Froch did, trying to emulate what Hayes going to feels in the dressing room minutes before the fight, he was really in the zone, looking ready for a war.

I ws just thinking this the other day about Froch. He has a decent pace delivery and speaks coherantly which is a rare attribute in fighters to be fair. I too thought this guy is good on camera and deserves a spot as a pundit for sure. His knowledge also seems pretty decent too so not sure about this 'not following the sport a la Chisora'
