Just heard on Sky Sports News that the television broadcaster did actually contact the Haye and Klitschkos camps about postponing the fight until tomorrow due to the rain!

Both camps said no, thank ****!

I think the rain has been real heavy, but the reporter was actually stood in the ring and he said that there are just the occassional flecks of rain blowing into the ring. Tye perimeter of the ring may be a little wet also.

Most of the seats in the stadium are covered, and the ring has a canopy so I can't see that loads of rain will make it into the arena. But the people in the expensive ringside seats are going to get soaked! Good riddance!

The humidity in the air, along with blowing rain, and the natural sweat of the fighters is going to make the ring surface quite slippy.

This is certainly favoring Haye the wetter this canvas gets.:patsch

I read that the sanctioning bodies rules meeting determined that if the fight has to be stopped due to adverse weather conditions (when the ring gets slippery due to rain) it would be a NC if stopped before end of round 4, otherwise goto score cards.

Jeez, if the Klit fans have a hard time swallowing Lewis 'TKO6' Vitali due to a career threatening cut, imagine how nuts they'd go over Haye 'adverse weather conditions 5' Wladimir!

That would be hillarious. Imagine all the ESB threads for months to come. Oh and of course that would open the door for the infamous "EVT WINNER" for whoever loses the TD
