I'm almost glad none of the Haye/Wlad brigade can really revel in their victory.

It was a **** fight unfortunately and I'm sure it did neither fighters long term career prospects any good.

Look at the loser. Doesn't he look a lot like Shannon Briggs but much smaller? That hairdo, the beard. It's funny. I'd like to know what, if anything, Haye had to say after the fight, after losing his belt. Big mouth always ends up as loser.

Can't say that's true for Wladimir. He fought a man who everyone regarded as the biggest and most serious threat to his reign. Yet he handled him like he was a poxy sparring partner.

Wladimir's stock continues to rise, whilst Haye's whole legacy is being regarded as a joke now.

Lol I was thinking the exact same thing. It became reminiscent of Vitali beating on Briggs last year.

Oh, and Haye blamed his toe. Lol

i don't mean to spoil your party but if you think haye's whole legacy is a joke, why would wlad's stock rise when he had beaten a guy who has a joke legacy?

Blame Haye, he refused to fight. Wladdy was the aggressor and pressed the fight through 12 rounds, Haye ran like a *****. Like he did against Valuev. Even Valuev saw most of his wide punches coming, Haye needs to learn how to throw a proper punch.

This is ridiculous. Leaning and clinching have always been part of boxing. It's the range fighter's counter against the inside fighter. If it wasn't for that tactic, Ali would have been KO'D 3 times by Frazier. Falling to the ground on purpose is not part of boxing and should be immediately penalized. I guarantee that in light of this fight and Dirrell's, the refs are going to start cracking down on it because that just looked pathetic and gay.
