It's supposed to be on Fox Sports Esp, and is supposed to have started an hour ago - but isn't showing up on the schedule. :think

Mauricio Javier Munoz and Maximiliano Ezequiel Mendez are in the ring for a super bantamweight 6-rounder.

Sure, since it doesn't seem to be on the FS carrier in my area...I'll just stick with the Argie card. :good

    Round 1

Mendez whips out his hands after spinning them at the wrist, a lot of fancy motion but not landing a whole lot. Munoz just puts his head down and gloves up and lets Mendez whip into them with those quick spinners, then dishes out some hard-slugging body shots. Nice long left and right uppercuts to the ribs by Munoz, who just ignores the gnat-like head slaps of Mendez. Some vicious body combos by Munoz. Mendez is shuffling around him popping jabs from the hip and slinging Ferris-wheel right hands, keeping his full arm weight dragging down from the shoulder in what has become the typical Argentinian style. Countryman Munoz, meanwhile just grits his teeth and pounds the body in a more traditionally Mexican style.

    10-9 Munoz

 Well, I assume the fight got delayed due to the fact that Top Rank is having technical difficulties.

I'm hoping it's delayed, it's been nonstop commercials for the past 6 minutes. :patsch

    Round 2

Mendez is doing a lot of awkward leaning, bringing his upper body back and then jerking it to the side in choppy motions. His offense is very stilted and consists of a lot of slap delivered up high. Munoz keeps his chin down and works his hands with a bit more discipline, putting jabs together with straight rights and uppercuts and always making sure to work the body with nice hooks when he's close enough. Mendez leans in and presses his forehead against Munoz's and tries to dig to the body himself but is losing that battle. Munoz jabs as he steps back and takes a whipping combo to the face. He answers back with a hard overhand right and a couple of heavy left hooks to the body. Now Munoz gets outside and works a triple jab, clapping loudly against the gloves of Mendez and keeping him out at arm's length.

    20-18 Munoz
