what about the Cubans though? they've historically been a bigger presence in the amateurs than the Slavs yet you can't bring yourself to mention them

 

The CCCP was known for their peculiar reluctance to want to beat Americans in Olympic contests. I think you're on to something. They were deliberately holding back hordes of iron-chinned Slavs with world-class work ethic in Siberian labor camps.

 

Here are the main reasons that the US can not have another great US HW.
1. This kids today start playing football/baseball/basketball from a young age
2. Kids are unhealthy, they eat junk food like KFC, pop eyes chicken and taco bell. 1 - 3 American kids are overweight.
3. Kids this days are spoiled and play video games all day.
4. They have no boxing hero's to look up to.
5. They don't no the meaning of hardwork, American's take there country for granted and then they ***** about when immigrants come into there country and take there jobs since there more hard workers.

 

Dio is most likely a pre-pubescent under-18 kid and I am embarrassed at myself for having taken the time to respond to his posts.

 

Cubans are not born great for boxing, they are highly well trained from the day they are born. Cuban government makes this kids into beasts.

 

There is currently not a single Eastern european deserving of pound for pound status. From Arthur Abraham to the Klitsckos, nearly every single one of them is trash.

The Klitsckos dominate THE weakest era in heavyweight history. And this bum got welted up by a B level cruisereweight. Any of the past great heavyweights would destroy the Klitsckos.

This is truly a horrible era for the heavyweight division. Thankfully known of these sorry ass Eastern Europeans have been able to ruin any of the other divisions with their robotic horrible boxing style.
