    Many old school fighters like Joe Louis, Mickey Walker, Harry Greb all fought with terrible injuries. Eye's swollen shut, Broken bones, torn acl's, detached retina's the list is long. A broken toe isn't that bad, it is a poor excuse. He could of had it lidocained and taped up and he wouldn't of felt a thing. He had the biggest fight of his life and coasted to the distance in survival mode. He clearly wasn't there for the belt, he was there for the money.

    On a side note how do you break your toe 3 weeks out of the Heavyweight Championship? Did he drop a sofa on his foot helping a friend move? Then says he is in "peak condition" going into the fight WTF?

    Haye turned out to be a even bigger clown than I expected...:good

    Haye could of landed that big punch that won him the 12th many times, if only he had the heart to take needed risks. Yeah, he was content in just getting the pay.

    Hey, take it easy on David Clottey. He's had a rough day. He got punched in the face a couple of times and has been heaped with verbal abuse all night. To top it all off, it's only been a month since he stubbed his toe so that trauma is still fresh too.

    All the brave people droning on about how fighters used to carry on with all kinds of injuries in the good old days as if it's a positive? They're probably the same type of "man" who would cry like a ***** and threaten to sue the local diner if they burned their soft lips on a hot sausage.

    Didn't a lot of those old boxers die penniless with scrambled eggs for brains? If that's the kind of future that you feel boxers should have to face for your entertainment, you should probably log out of ESB and go to rotten.com or something like that, because you're not a supporter of boxing, you're just a ghoul with a boner for other people's pain.

    As for David Haye, he should have postponed the fight for a couple of months, and calmly told anyone who claimed that such an act would be evidence of fear of Wladimir to go and stick their cum-glazed keyboards up their own arses. Then when the day came, there'd be no excuses left, and he'd have to risk it all and perform at his best. As it was, he went out with a whimper instead of a bang.

    Session 9, just to remind you Boxing is a " hurt business ", not a spelling bee. By your answer I can tell that you don't have much knowlege of the sport, or the history that comes with it. A real fighter will fight till the end, makes NO excuses, and takes a win or loss like a man.

    Don't insinuate that i'm a *****. You don't know me, so don't go on like you are some tough guy because you are far from it. Clearly you are a David Haye follower and a coward to boot. You should educate yourself on what boxing is, and what it takes to win in the sport.

    its obvious haye only wanted the cash. I mean come one, he says he fought cautiously because he didn't want to get KOd. DUDE YOU SERIOUS? YOU ARE FIGHTING FOR YOUR BELT! Dont let anyone take that **** out of your hand, even if it means getting possibly ko'd, at least you tried. This ***** was looking to keep his face clean and his ego high. He doesnt give 2 shits about that belt. what a ****in joke
