I'm surprised Haye took the shots and survived, I was surprised Wlad was so impressive and aggressive. The fight was a mismatch, Klitschko clearly won most rounds. Haye hiding the fact that he had an injury, then crying about it when he lost, is bad sportsmanship? Surely an athlete cannot have pain killing injections before a fight? What's the difference between this and taking banned substances, caffeine etc? Surely medicals before fights would pick up on such an injury? Was he fit to fight yes or no? Maybe if you lose you have an excuse. Crazy! :huh

    Pretty poor form by Haye.

You either pull out the bout because of the injury; or go though with it and say nothing win, lose or draw.

he has cheated people into buying the fight, lied to them saying he will do this and that, and he was in best shape of his life, bad sportmanship trying to make his pathetic excuses,

haye really has made himself to be a complete ****, and sad figure,

i hope people ask for their money back after he has gone in there knowing he would not fight because of an injury,

Injured or not once u get in the ring u dont then straight after the fight claim you were injured when beforehand u were 100%. I dont doubt the injury and probably explains why sparring ended so early however its the biggest fight of your life and you gotta put it on the line.

Bad sportsmanship - what else would you expect from Haye.

He's not even really a sportsman in my book. Just a part-time celebrity wannabe.

Can you imagine the **** Haye would have gotten had he postponed or pulled out of this fight?!

You can't blame him for carrying on regardless. Whipping his toe out straight away did make it sound like a **** excuse though.

    Shame.

Dude, you don't know that. Some people on here are far too eager to give Haye a slagging off because he "promised" to do this, that and the other.

If people here were "convinced" by that, then shame on you. You should know better.

Haye played this whole thing very well. Its really disappointing he lost but nobody here should have been under any illusion it was a possibility.

I think plenty did. Just not enough for a boxing forum, full of people who supposedly follow the sport.

It's not just what he promised to do, it's what he claimed he was doing that has me riled. All the so-called mind-games, psychology, disrespect, getting under Wlad's skin, yadda, yadda, yadda. I haven't been convinced by Haye since the Valuev fight, which seriously, seriously exposed him IMHO. Ever since then it's just been BS after BS. I was sick of it, I was sick of people believing it and now I'm glad he's lost.

It's a shame really, because I used to think he was a good bloke and a talented fighter. All those years ago when he said he was going to knock someone out or get knocked out I believed him. When he said he was going to KO all the fat bums in the HW division, I believed him again. Then he fought Barret and Valuev.
