All belts held by Klitschko, they dont look like retiring any time soon, we will have to wait maybe 2-3 for another heavyweight hope.

This is not a hate thread credit to Klitschko for winning, he did exactly the same as normal. Extremly effective with the jab and great footwork.

But it was clear before this fight, the Klitschko's will never win over the wider audience because they boring in and out the ring.

    There was no knockout either....

The entire division should be nuked so we can start anew.

Thats the last heavyweight contest I watch. Respect to Wlad he did what he does but with all the bravado before the fight Haye should have put it all on the line even if he got knocked out. The excuses from him afterwards are just embarrassing. Im a Brit and im embarrassed by Hayes actions.

Can you even imagine Ali , Frasier or Lewis blaming a loss on a bad toe. Even though it would affect him just take the defeat like a man and give Wlad credit.

I think most of the people are hating because wlad isnt american and you want some hypejob to take the title.

Yeah...I personally hate it when the best of a division fight and unify titles...tragic occurrence, that is.

Possibly true but he is right, the wider (casual) audience, have lost interest in HW boxing, this may be one of the last nails in the coffin for them.

that isnt the klitschko's fault though and only seems to be the case in the US. the alternative was haye winning and retiring then leaving the division in a state much worse than people consider it to be now.

There could be some interesting fights between Adamek, Haye, Povetkin, Solis, Boytsov, Chambers.

It's a shame these guys aren't fighting each other, there are some good match ups.

Well if Haye won, and beat Vitali, he'd have retired.. Klitschko's would no doubt get the belts back..

I never said it is their fault. It is still the truth though.

Haye would have won it, then had to defend it, most likely against Vitali. Vitali would have beat him, become the Uni champ, retired, Wlad would have had to fight for the vacant belts

    Thats not so bad
