Wlad Wouldn`t Have Lasted 4 Rds With Lennox Lewis - Agree or Disagree

I dont know, they are quite similair though, I favour lewis in this match up.

Lewis would likely win but it´s not that he looked much better than Wlad against those negative opponents who didn´t really try to win..

Lewis would deal with Klit like he did Grant and Galota. Big immobile guys stood no chance when he was in his prime. If Wlad had moved back in a straight line extending his left hand like that it would have been like Lewis Rahman II. LL's jab was much better than Wlads and that is Wlads best weapon. LL had size, reach, superior footwok, better combos, much better ringcraft, and varied and more potent arsenal and better defence. LL is a better athlete, had better fights, beat better guys, found an answer to beat everyone including the two guys that beat him.

LL Wlad would not even be ****ing close.

 

Id give LL the slight edge in this scenario but not necessarily within the first 4 rounds.

Disagree. Lennox wasn't as fast as Haye and thus would've been hit a lot more if he would've been in the ring against Wlad. Of course, due to Lewis' size and reach, he would've been able to hit Wlad much easier, but it wouldn't be an easy fight by any means. Lennox was good, but Wlad is good also...

 

Wlads style is perfect for fighting smaller men than him, but a lot of the things he does would not work against a man similar in size, superior in reach and just as athletic.

We all know Wlads weakness to punchers who can reach him can you picture Wlad keeping Lewis at bay. I cannot and we have seen Lewis rough up big men like Grant and Vitali. I cannot see how Wlad can keep him at a distance and he definately cannot out brawl him or out muscle Lewis.

Wlad is also so passive now he wouldn't even have much of a punchers chance against Lewis. If he couldn't pull the trigger and KO Haye how on earth is he gonna KO Lewis who is bigger man and bigger threat and more durable than Haye. Wlad has nothing to keep Lewis off him. KO inside 3 rounds for Lewis.

Wladimir would land some nice power punches in the process, but I see this as the likely scenario.

 

It would have been a good fight...but Lewis would have won...because Stewart did to him what he did to Wlad, maximize his advantages and minimize his weakness.

We would some how had to have both been trained by Stewart...then not training either for the fight.
It was after Brewster that Wlad became more cautious and knew he could power him self out. After Purdey he was also aware of that.

If any of you can remember the first few rounds of that Brewster fight; Wlad was a punching machine. Wlad was then more the fighter than the boxer he became.

 

I like Wlad, but he's had 15 years to show me that he would probably beat someone like Lennox Lewis. He hasn't done it. Even last night's performance, while dominant, did not suggest anything other than what I thought beforehand: Wlad would have a shot against Lewis, but Lewis would be a huge favourite.

(Actually, I expected Wlad to KO Haye in the middle rounds, but I've come to admit that Wlad can either bomb out someone who can't hit & hurt him or jab his way to a decision against someone who can, but not both. That's why Lewis would beat him, because to beat a prime focused Lewis you need to bring everything to the table.)
