against a highly rated fighter and get himself in mandatory position to redeem his reputation or his legacy will be ruined forever. Forget those retirement plans, a fight against Povetkin or Dimitrenko, (which are pretty realistic) is where he needs to go. Even the british fans are noy buying the toe excuse. The irony is that I believe Haye caould have actually beaten Wlad! But the bottom line is a loss is a loss and Haye needs to recognize that.
Haye could have beaten Wlad in the same sense that Enzo Mac could have beaten Haye....folks on here are more deluded than Flint.
Enzo didn't have a broken toe. I was wondering why Haye was neglecting to use his right hand when there were clear openings for him the entire fight and I kept on saying it eveyone, the toe was obviously the reason. You saw how Klitschko responded in the last round when Haye did what he should have done in the first place. Coming forward.
I think he used his right hand as much as he was allowed to , unfortunatly it was only his right hand that was used and when it did land he followed it up with nothing! He believes too much in his own power. And the toe seem to be ok to put weight on it everytime he got up off the canvas
There were plenty of times he could have used the right. When Wlad was coming forward at him at times his chin may has well had a sign on it saying hit me. Anyway all that's just my opinion. The point of the thread is the fact that Haye needs to come back if he wants to be rememberd seriously by a great many of his fans (former fans)
I think an undefeated fighter like Povetkin would be better. Adamek would also be ideal but he's obviously got Vitali.
The thing is, Haye is hardly the most active of fighters. Even if he does comeback he might not fight for a year or so.
well klit rematch/fight or not,get his ass to the US and fight the arreolas, chambers, povetkin, chageav. get some top wins over them and get some pride back. if klits still about and vitali or wlad want to try KO him and he can stay fit to exexcute a better fight performance then why not? if he cant keep fit and keeps niggling injuried before a fight that stops him performing then best give it up mate.
Wlad is too big and uses his size too well. Would like to see haye fight the american heavys mind and prove that he is the best p4p heavy...
I thought the fight was close but the public will have no stomach for a rematch even if the boxing community do.
