Really? What sport are you an athlete in? How much of the training involves pressure on the toe?

I had an am fight with the same injury and it IS a big ****ing deal.

 

i had the same injury and it was absalutly no problem for me..im a semi pro goalkeeper and if you dont know you need your feet for being a goalkeeper.ive also played with a broken big toe which was slightly anoying..but i managed..baby toe no ****ing chance...stop making excuses he was made to look like the rest of them

 

Then he should have postponed .. Its a sad excuse ..

That is the first time I've seen this ..Amazing stuff ..Just made me forget last night's fight ..Dam much respect to Danny Williams !!

The broken toe is a terrible excuse. A little broken toe is not going to have had much effect on his performance if any at all. Haye looked as mobile as ever, he threw plenty of right hands, they just didn't land cleanly.

 

First time I saw this also....that was indeed inspirational.

 

I was a semi pro/youth footballer many years ago (Clydebank FC). Guys who got broken toes didn't train or kick a ball for a couple of weeks at least. I broke mine preparing for an AM bout two weeks out, it effected every part of my prep, more annoying/niggly than painful but it did have an effect, especially when trying to get leverage into power punches, hooks in particular.

Look I'm not saying Haye would have won, I bet on Wlad. But to say it doesn't effect a pro athlete at (like some here are saying) is a ludicrous statement.

Danny Williams is a ****ing warrior.. Haye is a **** talker who took the money and ran.

 

Not only was it not his big toe, he had three weeks for it recover. All he needed to do is attach it to its neighbor and he could have fought at nearly full strength. The excuse is obvious bull****.
