Willard wasn't as good or big as Valuev, Willard was nearly 38 too

That's what I meant by legacy swing.

No way pal, knocking out willard and sharkey alone easily surpass haye's career to date at hw.

Dempsey is a toss up. Marciano would ragdoll Haye. Haye was getting thrown about by average cruiserweights. He would get pushed back and gas out due to the workrate set by Rock, that's if he doesn't get caught with something big first.

The Valuev Haye fought was past it, or, then again, maybe not. He was so terrible it's almost made indistinguishable to me.

The Willard that beat Johnson would have beaten any version of Valuev, in my opinion.

Willard was nearly 38 inactive for 3years, and and never that good to start with, do you think the people who actually beat a Prime Willard are great? The Sharkey 'win' was part cheated, Ruiz wins are probably on par with Sharkey's when you consider the Schmelling fight was a robbery.

I doubt it but either way Dempsey didn't face that version he faced the 37yo who'd been inactive for 3years

Yes, he was in a sorry state for his fight with Dempsey, that much is undisputed. But the guys Haye's been knocking around aren't any different. Belt or no belt, Valuev was on the way out. In fact, Haye hasn't fought a live body outside of Wladimir Klitschko.

I responded to the assertion that Willard was somehow inferior to Valuev. He is inferior only in size. His skills eclipse that of Valuev's and that's saying something.

David Haye with a healthy toe would beat any heavyweight in history.

Don't even dare to fantasize about a 10-toe version of Hamburg Haye... :scaredas:

Only a Prime SNV (Barrett fight) would have a hope in a hell against such a mythical machine.

You don't have to be great to be better than valuev.

You're really comparing sharkey to ruiz? Wow, I don't know what to reply to that mate. We're on polar opposites here.

    Think i'll leave it there.

10,000 comedians out of work and you're wise cracking here. Surely you did see what some called a heavyweight title unification fight last night. That was a pitiful fight and for you to think Haye could beat both Dempsey and Marciano is ludicrous at best. Keep drinking the Haye Koolaid, he'll need fans like you because he probably lost half or more after last night.

Losing to Wladimir Klitschko is not a shame. People still look down on him for no reason and kiss the butt of the old timers like Marciano and Dempsey as if they were gods.

    You're all such sycophants here.

Well last time i checked, EVERYONE here thinks you are wrong.

This means one of two things - all of us don't know boxing or you don't know boxing.

If you think it's you, you should look into it.

If you think it's us, why do you come here?

No shame in loosing a 4 round decision to the greatest 4 round fighter of all time.
