He couldn't even look good against the worst fighter in living memory. So what has Haye done? Where does the hype come from. It comes from Davids mouth and nowhere else. The man has NEVER EVER justified his hype and big talk. His PPVs have been embarrassingly poor value for money. Each fight he tells us what he'l do and how brutal it's gunna be and how exciting he's gunna be..then comes out and does the exact opposite. He has NEVER done what he said he was gunna do in ANY if his HW fights. Now let's go to the Klitschko fight...:rofl you would have thought he was Tyson Lewis Bowe and Ali all in one to hear the guy talk. And to rubbish a top champ like Wlad the way he did just adds to his embarrassment. Basically he was a disgrace last night and didn't win a single round:yep he MUST be embarrassed. And now he's got to retire. So all in all David Haye was just a con man who managed to steal millions of pounds from the idiotic clueless British general public and the prats at SKY who sucked him off so shamefully. It all comes down to all the Trash talk. David showed up at the airport, all kinds of times just flat trashin' Wlad sayin' he's the worst champion that has disgraced boxing and ****. Then he showed up to fall down and cry to the ref the whole time. Infact it turned out to be an obvious part of his game plan.
David Haye is immensely talented, but lacks the frequency to outgun any of the Klitschko brothers. He's the smaller man, with the lower output numbers and he's defensive minded, hes gonna have to pick up his workrate to compete with those guys. A fraud he's not, a clever business man, however. :deal
Haye slipped punches and took punches much better than I expected though. I thought that he'd be down as soon as Wladimir detonated the right hand. Haye took the shots. So, there were some positives.
I will say though, other than last night I never thought of David as less than exciting though. OK, Big Mac sucked.....but it was a good fight/event for many reasons....including just the fact that Enzo C. trained Big Mac. David came thru in big ass style on that fight. If you didn't see no excitement, IMO, it might just be because you didn't want to see any?
Don't blame Haye blame Boxing ..Had Holyfield got the nod over SNV would this have been a unification bout between these 2? Allot of things come in to play today in the making of champs and contenders.
