What now for Haye?

Retire. He talked big and got totally exposed for the limited one trick pony he is. Nobody will want to support him now.

 

adamek gets beaten by late stoppage or close points, haye looks much more effective at heavy than adamek, its also the retirement fight id like to see for haye.

 

At least stick to one of his words and retire

 

He should write a book. "Talk your way to making millions in boxing without having any skills" by David Haye.

 

go back down to Crusierweight or wait for the Klitschko's to retire

 

Being English, I fancy David fighting the winner of Del Boy/Fury. I am sure that David would still think that this fight is not befitting to his stature.

I would not mind seeing him fight Arreola as well.

One thing that I am pretty confident of though is that David feels that he is entitled to walk directly back into the ring with WK. The same with VK. David is not one who feels a need to earn a spot in the top fights by fighting some reasonably good opponents to get there.

i really can not see that bothering him at all, you could have said audley was not a worthy opponent but haye took the fight because the £££££ were there & i could honestly see him doing it again against the winner of these two if the money is there, sky would hype the **** out of it & convince everyone its a must see event, the casuals would be well up for a bit of £15 ppv. you could even hold it at the den as a homecoming like hatton did at man city, im sure it would sell out if priced correctly.

lets just hope his glass toe heals first though.

Even after the jabber and last nights non-performance? Does that speak volumes about Haye's drawing power or the gullibility of the public? And do you think he'd sell out a stadium against ANY opponent or do you feel after his last two - shall we call them missteps - he'd need to be matched with a credible opponent?
