i did not actually score it round by round but at the end felt that haye took two rounds . haye did not throw enough punches and did not get inside and work wlad body once the whole fight very dull to watch at times it was more about the occasion than the fight in the end.haye 's chin was better than i thought and wlad i am afraid will suffer through the years as the champion that was never really tested as the division was weak throughout his tittle reign. i am not a haye or wlad fan but feel that wlad will be possibly by many including myself underrated because of the weakness of the division
Thank God Wlad closed the show by winning the last few rounds huh? Anything closer than 116-111 is pretty bad, I had it 118-109.
If a guy goes to a knee on purpose it is a knockdown. Wlad should've been credited with at least 10 knockdowns in that fight.
118-108 and Haye was lucky to get the 1 round I gave him. Can't see how he won any more than the 1. 2 rounds maximum if you're being very generous!
11-1. Haye didn't do enough to win rounds. He was getting jabbed to death in the end. His output is terrible.
credit es for telling the referee that haye was intentionally taking a knee. the ref then justifiablly called the next one a knockdown. haye never did it again. i really believe that haye was so deperarate that he he was hoping that he could somehow get wk to hit him when he was down to get a dq win. thats how pathetic he was.
115-111 Wlad Here's my card and notes: * * R1 -- 10-9 WK --> Close round. Haye moving, little flurries. WK control distance, jab. Feel out R2 -- 10-9 WK --> Haye movement, speed an issue for WK. Close round. More WK control. DH = PBF R3 -- 10-9 DH --> DH landed a few shots, not bother WK. WK land a few. DH movement, speed R4 -- 10-9 DH --> Stole it at end with potshots; was WK's best round of fight until then - Very strong R5 -- 10-9 WK --> WK best round. Landed big right that hurt Haye, then Haye fell down in clinch R6 -- 10-9 WK --> DH starting to slow; WK finding more rhythm. ES not happy b/n rounds R7 -- 09-9 WK* --> Another WK round. DH landed one left over top, that's it. No effect. WK pressing DH ........ Ref took point from WK for no reason; absolute BS. Bull**** DH fall R8 -- 10-9 DH --> DH running, trying to get ref to take points. *****. Close round R9 -- 10-9 WK --> DH cant throw in combo, has no balance. Tiring, looking for potshots. Nope ........ WK got hit big right, no effect. Confidence is gaining, but must be careful R10 - 10-9 WK [6-3-1] --> DH running. Cant do anything. WK nice right at end of round ........ Haye with almost no offense, nothing. Just in retreat. Crowd mad R11 - 10-8 WK [7-3-1] --> DK given KD after he falls down. Makes up for BS point deduction. Wild DH misses ........ Only DH KD's or KO can save him now. He's done. *****. Farce R12 - 10-9 DH [7*-4-1] --> DH stung WK, this made WK mad. DH round. WK never really hurt ====================== My Score: 115-111 WK
I gave him 3 rounds, and agree about the deduction and the KD. So, what's that. 117-111 without the points taken off, 116-110 with them? Hell, even if I take off the deduction and use my judging criteria of not having to make a KD a 10-8 compulsory round, the most generous I can do for Haye is 116-111 Waldo. Pretty convincing win.
This thread is completely baffling. Haye won the third round, and no other. How the **** did people find any round other than the third to give Haye? Seriously? The next closest after the 3rd was the 12th, and Klitschko clearly won the 12th. He got stunned once and had to hold. Big deal. He rained down several retributive right hands that hurt Haye just as bad. Even the 3rd wasn't a massive round for Haye in terms of landing more solid shots; it was one that he just about nicked. (the only one)
Just saw the fight yesterday and i am in chok........Wlad didnt landed 10 punches in the hole fight.......................:-( Wlad punches air more than Valuev vs. Holyfield for christ sake.......... REWATH the fight in slowmotion every body...................:deal
