Duran has a difficult accent for me, plus all the punches he took dont help either. We need one of our mexican posters to clear this one up:p

Duran is right, he would kill Pac in 1. It's a fantasy fight. In real fight Pac has only lost one round since moving up to lightweight and that was the first round vs Cotto. Other than that Pac has swept Diaz, Dela Hoya, Hatton, Cotto, Clottey, Margarito, and Mosley.

I gave Cotto round 1 and one of the later rounds when he decided to move around.
I gave Margarito round 2 against Pac and you can argue for round 6

I gave Mosley nothing, but you could argue he won round 1

"Pacquiao won't hit me, not even as an old man he would hit me. Listen to me, I get my stance and I beat him, he won't beat me. He has fortitude, I have fortitude too. He's got a punch, I got a punch. I know the way he fights, and I know that he could not beat Roberto Duran, I'm telling the truth, not even now what I'm old."

What would you say to the people that are saying that he would beat you?

"To wake up, they are talking ****, they are being idiots, I say it directly they are talking ****. Make him fight me at this age, I would floored him. And beware of Mosley, he is not a fish (easy to beat)."

no big deal...that's what a proud great boxer should say. Even Uncle Roger says he beats Pac in his prime.

    Translation you say?!?

"Pacquiao? That's..that's a joke you're talking about. Pacquiao doesn't (can't) hit me- Not even OLD does he hit me! Listen to what I'm telling you. I prepare myself well, and he doesn't beat me. I already told you, he doesn't beat me. He doesn't have what it takes to beat me. Fortitude, he has it, and I have it. His punch...he has a (strong) punch, and I have a punch. I know how he fights, so he doesn't win over Roberto Duran, I'll tell you right now. Not even old does he beat me!

"What would you tell all the people who have said that?"

"All those people, they're talking **** nonsense. I wish I could get a fight with him now, with the age I have now. I'd give him salsa so he'd learn. And prepare yourself, be careful with Mosley; careful with Mosley because he's no little fish, I'll tell you."

Roberto the smaller man took on Hearns and Leonard came out defeated but he wasn't a cherrypicking ***** like pac...

Pac should move up and face Martinez and get KTFO like the greats, or become a god if he accomplishs the feat.

    also Duran KO's PAC.

I wish Roberto would comment on Pacman objectively instead of always involving himself. The guys who are going to fight Pacman are Floyd and Marquez, so Duran saying he would beat Pacman is predictable and typical of Roberto. And truth be told, Roberto did not do that well with the other quick greats he fought Benitez,Leonard,Hearns, so what makes him think he can so positively beat Pacman since Manny has speed like those guys did. At this point Pacman has beaten more greats than Duran ever did. The welterweight Duran of 1980 and Pacman now would be a great fight to be honest, but no sure winner. Also, Pacman's opposition at 130 was better than Duran's at 135 by far. The edge would go to Pacman if they fought at any weight.
