Just heard Klitschko's promoter on the BBC. He ruled out a Wlad rematch though stated a fight against Vitali is a possibility as Vitali has a taste for the fight. Basically I think he fancies knocking Haye out. I struggle to see it happening myself with Haye having to give up so much ground in the negotiations. Still, if it did take place,I think it will be curtains for Haye around round 6 or 7. Still, you never know, even the best of fighters can't go on forever and what's Vitali now, near 40?
Vitaly would beat Haye if he was 50. I actually repect Haye again because at least he went through the fight. But there is simply no way to keep pretending that he is any better than the rest. Its the Klits, and everyone else, including Haye.
I've always fancied Haye against Vitali alot more Wlad, I'd love to see this. I would prefer Haye to face someone highly ranked first though. Dimitrenko or Povetkin would be great to get the public back on his side again.
"There's no chance of a rematch," Bernd Boente told BBC Radio 5 live. "Wladimir will now move on. Vitali mentioned he would be interested in knocking Haye out." "The fight could happen later this year or at the beginning of next year." Meanwhile, Boente stated that Wladimir was keen to fight the winner of the British and Commonwealth contest between Tyson Fury and Dereck Chisora in July at Wembley Arena. "An interesting future opponent for him could be the winner of that fight," said the manager http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/boxing/14008434.stm
Vitali would put a beating on Haye by way of accumulation. He's much harder to hit then Wlad, He fights a lot taller, is more awkward, frustrates you a lot more and is mentally very strong. Vitali would have to breakdown physically on the night for Haye to have any chance.
I don't see how anyone gives Haye a better chance against Vitali than Wlad. He's zero chance of sparking Vitali and would just get walked down and broken to pieces on the end of Vitalis jab. Sparked in and around the 8th unless he got on his bike again and was happy to accept another wide points defeat which, I guess, isn't too far fetched
Has anyone seen vitali fight recently, he is so fcking slow, the guy is waiting to be beaten, I always thought haye had a better chance against him. He throws a lot of punches for a HW but only if the opponent is there to be hit ala Briggs
To be fair, Vitali was getting tagged by Solis' overhand right for most of their 'fight' so it could be interesting. I agree Haye needs another fight before to sell the fight with Vitali.
