This. He tried to keep playing the ref like he was stupid or something, and the ref slapped him with a standing 8. I can't believe Haye didn't think he would get caught on it after he used it to the extent he used it to. The first 3 times, I was like, "Hey Haye, I think that is a great idea to stop the clinch n lean". Then after another 3 or 4 times, I was like, "Okay, this is getting old, dude wants to be Heavyweight Champion of the world"
Please dont label all us brits like the **** asses who are still on hayes nutsack today and wont give Wlad any credit at all - plenty of real british fight fans knew all along that Haye was full of **** and just another sky/murdoch hype job - ****ing diehard haye huggers are even clinging to the pinky toe excuse and have the ****in temerity to site Wlad not ko'ing haye as some kind of victory. I hope hayes little toe rots and drops off for making the UK look so bad. plus I bet he ****s arses on the sly .
What was worse is when the ref deducted a point from Wladimir for Haye's flops. He made up for the bad call but he had to be told to do so. One of the most pathetic point deduction's I have ever seen. Its good to not resist a stronger and heavier man but I would rather of seen him do it with more skill. Haye should have got Wladimir leaning and used his weight against him somehow,Get him off balance. Instead of just falling to the ground. He still had to spend energy standing back up.
I hate clinching but its doesnt mean i dont support some guys because of it, besides Lewis clearly had more to his inside game than just clinching like Wlad does.
I think Wlad tried to throw an uppercut on the inside in some of his past fights, but it just looked akward as hell. Guess it's too late in the game for him to incorporate something like this succesfully.
The only thing Haye has going for him, is his unusually skinny head that makes him hard to hit. Especially when Wlad aimed every shot he threw at the head. You would think Wlad would go for at least one body punch in 12 round.
Did you not understand? Haye was diving into Wlad so ref takes points of referee. I don't know wtf booth speaking about referee being ****
In all fairness he is starting to introduce the uppercut into his game, but he'll only ever throw it if hes convinced that it will land.
Why waste of my time debating with someone who's signature "genuine Haye Hater" clearly shows that Haye would be in the wrong regardless of anything we would discuss:huh
It is a strategy that plays well to the Euro futbol/soccer crowd, where flopping and faking injuries to get the opponent penalized is considered sporting and strategic. To the rest of us, it just screams that the fighter is a punk *****.
From where I was watching, most of Hayes 'flops' came from a combination of him being wildly off balance by throwing a big punch and Klitschko slightly pushing him out of the way to hold him off. Haye was so off balance that it didn't take much to put him down. Basically I don't think Haye was taking dives but neither do i think Klitschko was excessively leaning on him other than one or two occasions.
