Agreed the reason Bowe beat Holyfield in the first and 3rd fights.. Is because he was one tough Sob, and had to dig deep to get those wins.. Dont see Wlad being able to do that vs Holy,,,,.. Holy might not have been a big bomber but he hit hard enough, and was a sharp puncher.. Certainly hit hard enough to hurt Wlad,,.. WLad has never fought anyone like a prime Holy.... Holyfields Experience against a whos who of elite HWs is another advantage... Wlads has beaten some good/solid hws but 2nd tier compare to Holys opponents,.. If we had a time machhine id bet the ranch on Holyfield.

Prime Tyson and Holyfield knock him out. But Wlad knocks Lennox out cold.

Do you think it woild be that easy? Might work for a little bit.. Your either underrating Holy or maybe just didnt watch much of him in his prime...

Holyfield loved a brawl, ,but he was also a smart fighter, underrated ring general..Almost always had a plan B.... .. His only poor showing was the first Moorer fight(obviously not 100% but still very close).

    :good

Another does of reality for these nostalgic fools who don't give Wlad any chance whatsoever as if all of the above haven't been beaten by lesser fighters.

Exactly. Bowe had a way of fighting down to the level of his competition.

I don't agree with much Widdow says on Wlad threads, but this is on the money.

Bowe fought an appalling fight against Holyfield. Hell, 3 appalling fights.

He took every advantage he had, and threw them away. Bowe should have beaten Holyfield comfortably. The fact he didn't is down to Holyfields chin and endurance, and Bowe's stupidity.

Holyfield IMO at any stage of his career would lose the vast majority of fights against Lewis if matched multiple times, and would lose the vast majority of times against the current version of Wlad too. Those guys are just too big, and use their size too well against smaller fighters.

He'd be competitive, but lose. And he doesn't have enough power to be a genuine, KO threat out of nowhere against either of them.

Can't see Holy beating - sorry - I can see Holy beating Wlad, (Holy could beat anyone on a good night as could all great fighters), but Wlad would be a decent favourite IMO.
