Floyd Mayweather is the most intelligent boxer of them all. He has too much knowledge he talk like a complete moron every time. That's how super geniuses talk you'd think they're idiots :hat
Clearly there's a fair amount of intelligent fighters out there going by this thread. Not surprising when you consider the advantages tactical and analytical nous can yield in the sport. Special shout to NotAnMMAfan for attempting to derail the thread with the usual inane bull****. Do you ever stop thinking about Floyd Mayweather for more than 5 seconds?
- Mayweather - You think about the word intelligence in relation to imagining a boxer in the ring - And Mayweather just oozes a intelligent boxer for me. - Probably because he's been hitting the pads since the age of 3 or something ridiculous.
Floyd Sr is the source of Floyd's brilliant mind. You can't dispute that. And I'm not derailing the thread. Floyd is really a genius. Floyd a G :deal
Ali only had an IQ of about 78. When he was asked in an interview about his IQ he said " I never said I was the smartest! I said I was the Greatest!". No doubt his ring smarts were off the chart though.
Thanks for the clarification. Maybe Ali had that strange stroke of eloquence that occasionally hits Mike Tyson. Mike is obviously not the smartest guy you'll meet but every now and then he's very articulate and witty.
Ali's iq was likely more than the average of 100 and certainly above 78, which borderlines on an inability to complete daily tasks unassisted. No doubt Ali's iq test was conducted by the military (as was very common back then) he likely gave it as much respect has he had for the people trying to draft him.
