Just rewatch the fight no way he should of loss that fight I had him wining by 2 rounds SMH... I feel it is over for him at age 35 it is a little too late to get a belt at 126 in less Barros gives him a rematch I don't think Gamboa or Lopez want to fight him now.
I wont be surprise if they rob him, Argentina judging is known for that unfortunately. Did you see what happen to Marquez when he fought Chris John over there? It sucks for Caballero and should def. seek a rematch but in the states. I must see this fight, it sounded like it was exciting.
Caballero vs John would be a good match both guys are in the later part of their careers could be a big fight in INDO
Nope. Mismatch. Based on John's last two performances (against Saucedo and Yordan) and Caballero's (against Litzau and Barros) John has a lot more tools left despite being past his best. He's lost a great deal of mobility but he can still fight well while anchored and standing still. Caballero is just unable to keep guys at range anymore and therefore has no ability to be effective against anyone trying to fight on the inside (where he's totally ineffective). The Dragon would mess him up right now.
I had it 114-112 for CC. He also was not given credit for a clear knockdown in the 6th. Barros was hurt and his gloves clearly touched the canvas. The RBR thread is writing off Caballero too early. It was an awkward looking fight stylistically largely because Barros was clinching and brawling a lot. Caballero never could get in a good rhythm, but I absolutely think he could still win a title at 126, nothing indicated that he's shot.
That was a slip. Actually, it turns out the legitimate knockdown of Caballero was not ruled by the referee (all of us just assumed that it was, and factored it into our scores). Caballero scored the two that were ruled (in the 1st and 9th), both from flush uppercuts to the chin. Barros scored one in the 4th but was denied the call. So taking away the knockdown (even though it should have been called) my scoring range goes from 113-112/114-111 to 112-112/113-111 depending on whose way you swing the 11th. Still a win for Barros or a draw.
Clearly won? When you have many people debating the decision "clearly" is not the word that should be used more like "in my opinion"
The 4rd knockdown was "clearly" a slip!!! The 6th round knockdown was more like Barros tripped and lost his balance could of been a knockdown but whatever.
The Litzau fight was at 130 and Caballero first time at that weight so even though it was a SD Caballero still should of beat Litzau but didn't. But he beat Barros IMO And he easily beat Yordan
Yep, that Argentina dude is the Teddy Atlas of scoring, he doesn't know had to score a fight. He had Seda and Narvaez a draw. atsch :rofl Showing that doesn't prove anything. Caballero lost clearly, he didn't throw punches, and was bullied. He was in a dog fight again, and he folded...again.
You might want to watch it again. There was a hard right hand landed by Caballero that obviously stuns Barros and sends him off balance across the ring, gloves touching canvas. That is not a slip. Knockdown. go to 5:20: [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aOraLZd34gc[/ame]
