Why are fans of 'The Sweet Science' (Floyd/Bhop fans) slow to defend the Klitschkos?

I don't think Floyd is boring in the ring. But many boxing fans do.

This thread is about why 'fans of the sweet science' who swear by their boxers for their intelligent, efficient style, do not defend Wlad or Vitali for being hated for that same philosphy.

I dont have a problem with either vlad, floyd, or bhop. I think they both utilize the sweet science in their own ways its just that vlad doesnt engage as much as i would like him to

Tyson was a true heavy, and you showed round 12 of Haye-Valuev for what lmao???. What about the other 11 rounds...how did the fight go? Valuev was slow as molasses, Wlad wasn't.

Because Klitschko has the opportunity to end a fight when he really wants to. Instead he just always does enough to win.

Floyd and Hopkins, as great as they are, do not have the punching power that Wlad has. Yet, you will always see Floyd and Bernard looking to dominate opponents rather than just being happy to do enough.

More importantly, the skills or athleticism.

You don't win with size alone.

Fans are telling you how they feel. They just aren't telling you what YOU want to hear.

    exactly.
I felt that wlad could have stopped Haye around round 5, but next thing you know, I'm looking at my friend in shock realizing that this fight is going to decision

Wlad is criticized for fighting cautious fights against much smaller, overmatched opposition. I'm nt sure why you're not grasping this concept.

    You just answered my point.

I don't even mind Wlad being cautious against Haye. Haye actually has legit power and hadn't taken much punishment. Haye was a threat to really hurt Wlad throughout the fight. However, watching Wlad being overly cautious with Imbragimov or having to be yelled at by his trainer to go after a guy like Chambers who was absolutely no threat to him is frustrating.
