Does anybody else here never wanna see RJJ acting as commentator for HBO, or anybody for that matter ever again? He was terrible on Saturday.
i thought he was pretty good, better than Lewis... but both of them get Wladimir and Vitaly mixed up RJJ did a nice job on the Alexander fight a few weeks back
RJJ sucks, when he is not getting the fighters name wrong he is talking about himself. He needs to just go away from boxing in every aspect of the sport.
I thought the same. Could not understand half of what he said, and him bopping his head with every word made him seem more ghetto then anything else. He was hanging on Hayes nuts like he was paid to do it, thats at least the feeling I got watching the fight. Any chance he got to defend Haye, he took it. As for both Lamply and Merchant, yea, they were totally having a go at Haye, and honestly for good reason. If Haye didn't make so much noise only to put up a sorry excuse for a fight, maybe the hammer wouldn't be coming down so heavily upon him.
I wouldn't mine seeing Paulie on HBO for a fight... [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_kLUNJq_9l4[/ame]
He was still way better then having Kellerman there, and better then RJJ for example. But Merchants age is showing, that is a fact. But none the less, some good and funny quotes from him during that night anyways.
Merchant had an excuse. He was ****ing wasted. Roy just isn't that great. It's hilarious when Larry is slurring his words and wobbling back and forth. Then they show some prerecorded interview with a fighter and he's cool as a cucumber.
Tarver easily beats RJJ. Personally Foreman is my favorite out of the boxers who commentate. Always makes it somehow interesting and puts a different spin on things, plus him getting into it with Lampley is entertaining.
to make matters worse the other commentators suck his dick mid commentary... especially Lampley. Always comparing RJJ to the guys in the ring and saying how much better RJJ was or how he pioneered such and such
