Klitschko-Haye was a much closer fight than the scorecards

Watched it 2 times and I scored it for Waldo by one point only.

Haye was ahead after the first seven rounds by 2 points. The 8th round waas even. Wladimir won rounds 9,10,11. The 12th I scored for Haye based on a big right hand that hurt Waldo.Goerge Foreman also had Haye comfortably ahead after 7 rounds.

Both fighters were throwing air punches, haye was more comfortable in the first 7 rounds being ahead. Waldo was unable to establish his left jab cause Haye was too elusive.Wlaod then came on after round 7 and made up for lost ground but still was not landing hard punches but he was landing slightly more than Haye.

IMO, nobody deserved to win this uneventful fight. Two overly cautious fighters, it could have even been scored a draw.

Haye took him into the matrix despite being crippled.

I also think it was pretty close, but I didn’t score it. However I knew he was going to lose onesided decision as the fight was in Germany.

I will watch and score it today

it was 'closer' in the sense that neither guy did all that much. i just don't see how you can give 5 or so rounds to haye. wlad was actually controlling the ring and stalking him while haye was in retreat (than sometimes jump in) mode. wlad didn't land much meaningful but i'm pretty sure he outlanded him rather significantly in most of the rounds.

Well, some people think Caballero was robbed last night versus Barros....so, I guess I shouldn't be surprised a thread like this pop up as well. :patsch

Vlad won the fight in a mismatch and everyone knows it except a few delusional haters...........as far as the fight being in Germany, two judges were from America and one from South Africa, referee from Puerto Rico. Even Ledermann had it scored one-sided. Haye lost big and Haye admitted it, but the haters are blinded by their extreme hatred!

I think people were turned off by Haye's media campaign and promises to fight like Tyson. He didn't (obviously), but people were judging him on that criteria, including the judges, it seems. If he'd said "I'm going to use the same tactics that Andre Dirrell did when he fought Carl Froch", the scoring might have been similar, i.e. still not enough for Haye to win, but enough to make it close.

It was much closer to a complete whitewash than the score cards let on don't you mean?

Haye didn't turn up to fight, he ran around shaking his head like a rooster for 36 minutes and then collected a pay check while bitching about a toe. That is all.

He simply didn“t came to fight, he came to avoid. You hardly win with that strategy...
