Why Can`t America Produce A Decent Heavyweight Anymore?

To be fair who IS producing top class heavyweights?

The Klitschkos are miles ahead of everyone in the division.
After them,many of the top fighters are American. Thompson,Arreola and Chambers are all top 10 fighters.

Klitschkos destroy other European fighters too. Sosnowski,Chagaev,Igragimov,Haye,Williams,Hide and soon Adamek are all European fighters,and they all got(wil get) their asses handed to them.

 

Just take a look at the ratings on boxrec:

There are much more active american heavyweights than any other nations.
The excuse of american heavy's are in other sports is rubbish. They just can't compete in international level anymore.

My point is to demonstrate that americans are still interested in the heavyweight division because of their high numbers.

And quantity helps producing quality athletes. It's just statistics. But the american case is just curious. Maybe they just suck in this period of time but i expect them to dominate the heavyweight division in a near futur.
