It wasn't a bad fight at all imo. Obviously the heavyweight division needs a great fight though but even if it got one the division is going to be terrible.

Wlad's style is horrible to watch but very effective.

    100% agree

And those bloody 'Best ever ring walks' costing £££$$$$ were ****ing ****.

A small cinema, a fake boxing gym,Lennox Lewis in a taxi and Vitali 'I will get my brother'

    I wasn't impressed or happy.

Two HWs with power and speed and what did we get?
The larger one clinging for dear life once again showing ZERO infighting, people compare this guy to Lewis?
The others whole gameplan was to look for one big shot, that was it.

Travisty, but unfortunately deep down it's what I expected.

Haye would have just replaced Wlad if he'd have beaten him, and if Haye had beaten Vitali as well, then what?

We'd still have a weak division.

One man can't make a division great and get people interested in boxing again.

Anyway, Wlad may as well retire now and Vitali too after he beats Adamek.

There's just no one left at all for the Klits to fight now and no reason to watch championship heavyweight boxing anymore.

The brothers have cleaned up and cleaned out the division.:deal

What a pathetic post. It wont make a difference to you anyway by not watching the HW division anymore, you've said many times already you only watch Haye at HW and no one else. Oh well, it's not all bad for you. It's not long now to Soccer AM starts up again, your type likes that sort of thing.

The fight went the way you could expect (even through i thought Wlad would stop Haye)..

I understand... and not to blame haye 100%... but when a guys game plan is to run and shoot a punch here or there and then run again (like he did with valuev) it makes for a boring fight.... the only round Haye stopped backing up and tried to stand toe to toe was the 12th.... but way to little WAY to late

^ That's the real loss. This was even worse than Pac-Mosely, as far as alienating casual fans. Princess Haye should be barred from the sport, and I'm not even sure how I feel about Wlad at this point.

The fight wasn't the disaster people are making it out to be. It just didn't live up to the hype because Haye was the same as all the other Wladimir opponents. Instead of a super-fight we got a typical W.Klitschko title defense.

The fight had to happen and like any other sport sometimes we get dud's. The overreaction is typical of boxing and boxing fans.

I can understand Haye fans being disappointed in Hayes loss, but why stop watching HW boxing? I have felt like that as well, but deep down I'm a fan of boxing, and you have to take the good with the bad, meaning as a true fan you watch during good times and bad and be there when the division gets a few more interesting fighters and things heat up again.
Wlad is very dominant in this era, but its not his fault that's who is there to fight. His job is to fight, not to make sure there is other great challenges around him. If people stop supporting boxing because they think its down, they are the fair-weather fans that will hurt a resurgence in HW boxing, no fans, no fighters. I say hang in there and take the good times with the bad, and appreciate the champion we have for dominating, like him or not.
What Chef said about the division would have still have been the same if Haye won is spot on, how would that have changed the talent in the division? It wouldn't have and he would have retired. Now at least he may stick around and make some good scraps with some of these other guys, which could actually help the division if he stays. Haye showed me he is pretty talented and fast, and I would like to see him fight some of these other guys and that could make some good fights for the division. Saying boxing lost, is way too early to predict, it may have actually won.
