I'm thinking landslide. Pinklon Thomas, Tony Tubbs, Larry Holmes, Michael Spinks, Frank Bruno, Buster Douglas and Bruce Seldon all had exceptional lead left hand jabbing punches. Truly some of the best jabbers, lb4lb, in history. And Tyson KNOCKED THEM ALL OUT (including Douglas). They say the jab is the best punch in boxing... Tyson is ****ing underrated.
Did Tyson knock Buster Douglas out? :think Anyway, I'd never even thought of this, but great call. Tyson clearly did possess the magic formula for combatting great jabs.
u missed lewis.both lennox and douglas knocked him out and no he is not underrated.hes the opposite if anything
Holmes was far gone from his best but still ,also LL needed to be mentioned as well even though Mike was shot by then ,his resume on jabbers alone is amazing ..It truly shows how great Tyson was as a boxer at his best while also being smaller than these guys ..
Gee the underlying message in this thread isn't obvious or anything atschatsch Most of these guys were either old or lost the fight before it began. When Buster showed Mike no respect he slapped him around.
You're such a **** poster. It's comical. GTFO already. Especially coming from somebody with Wladimir Klitschko in the avatar; a man whose best wins are an old Mercer, Byrd, Haye, Chagaev, Ibragimov, and Sam Peter. What a weak resume for somebody many fans around here call one of boxing's all time greats. All of those fighters are worse than, say, Tony Tucker, who Tyson beat.
The only great jabbers Tyson fought was an old fat retired Holmes, and Lewis who Knocked Tyson the **** out.
