Wlad didn't train for Puritty, thinking he was just a bum.

Against old man Sanders, again Wlad didn't train.

Against Brewster, there is a lot of evidence that someone put something in his water bottle.

See separate thread called "Was Wlad drugged in first Brewster fight?"

Wlad of today could deal with sanders a lot better than back then imo but corrie would still be highly dangerous in the first 4 to 6 rounds. Sanders coupled great handspeed with genuine heavyweight power. In the fight with Vitali he rocked the older brother with a perfect counter to the chin.

I believe that too though it was never officially proven.

Sanders signed a contract to fight Roy Jones...that caused the WBO to strip him because the other belts were stripping any one who signed to fight a WBO champ. IBF at least.
After Sanders gave up his belt Roy Jones never signed the contract.
There was a lot more money in a Jones fight than a Wlad re-match.

And he was not a golfer then....he was a police man. That was a job he gave up, when he became Champion.
With out a job, and with no one wanting to fight him...he tried his hand at Golf for money.

Against Vittialie he had a bad back, said so, and came in fatter than vs Wlad. He rocked Vitalie good a couple of times.

Against Rahman, he had had a knee injury that prevented him from training hard....so gassed at seven or 8. But Rahman was near KO.

I just loved it though ring introduction..... Dr. Steel Hammer..vs...Mr. Cory.
That was a great nose thumbing.

Come on. He ran from Sanders

Letting Vitali retire him was a joke

any version of Purrity destroys any version of Wlad. Ross can come back and take his crown at any time, if he so chooses.

    Really?!

Come on. Has Wlad got better, or has the standard just gone down quite a bit even from 2004?

Corrie Sanders wasn't even ranked in the top 15 back then. He'd be top 3 now.

David Haye's one of the best in the division. As is Adamek

Haye was 210 pounds. Lighter than Roy Jones boxed at heavyweight

He has shown he can handle a fast, powerful guy who he's 50 pounds heavier than.

I'm sure Felix Sturm could handle Pacquioa pretty easily as well

Come on. As if Wlad wanted a rematch

Momma Klitschko told big brother to deal with Corrie for little Wlad

He was ducked hugely in his prime

    From 18-36 he lost once.

The fact that you've had to mock up a picture of Wlad knocking out Haye says everything about his career!

Wlad and Vitali were average when the division was average.

Average fighters in a pathetic division = domination
