Haye showed great head movement and lateral movement limiting the effectiveness of Wlad's jab like no other fighter in years has done. He showed a way better chin than I figured and at times nearly caught Wlad with some wild hayemaker rights. Wlad showed great defence in this fight also. Just a good technical, defensive performance which is understandable when both fighters can spark each other out with one or two flush shots. Haye needs a new trainer and get a rematch with Wlad. He's young and coming into his prime. Wlad's not getting any younger.
[ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0Oqk4fazNso[/ame] 50 seconds. Wlad definitely seemed a little shakey. But yes lol at the ref.
yeah thats true, but he never had a problem with his chin, he can't hold temple shots, thats his problem
Agreed !! he is 3rd in line and is a great fighter with fast hands and power... This guy would give any Hw of any era trouble... call me crazy if you want but Haye is a very dangerous fighter and if continues to fight will will see some dev. KO's from him on his way back up.
Definately, I sure hope he keeps competing. He has some serious skills. Tremendous foot and handspeed and heavy hands. Seems his chin at heavy is vastly better than when he fought as a cruiser. Wlad nailed him with some flush shots and he recovered nicely. He's way better than I thought. Wlad fought a very good technical, defensive fight showing skills that i hadn't seen before and for the most part forced the action so got the U.D. But David can only get better from here and I look forward to a rematch.
Haye had very good head movement...didnt have anything else though..the head movement let him see the bell though
I think he worked on his defence ^^^so much, he forgot his offence. This is boxing David. And that u have to throw shots to actually win... U knob cheese!
if im being honest the only thing that i was surprised with was the fact haye didnt go down from the straight right he got hit with..apart from that he looked as he normaly did..looping shots.bad balance, over estimated speed...haye had the potential to make wlad miss more than others and hit wlad more than others but he didnt have wat it took to beat wlad..his power at heavyweight was overrated aswell..and anyone who fights haye now knows all they have to do is step back when he fires his looping wide shots and he isnt going to knock you out..
