It's funny how all the Brits said Haye would definately do Wlad, then looked like ****, and now it's "I always thought he would do better against Vitali."

I didn't/don't give him a chance against either, but they are two very different type of fighters to be fair. I think Haye would lose around round 6 or 7, but it would be a pretty different fight to the Wlad one.

Pre-fight, to be fair, there were a fair few folk who favoured him over this ageing, slowing, version of Vitali. I didn't, but there were some who did.

I personally thought that Wlad was the more winnable fight for Haye........ Haye's only chance to beat either of them is/was by KO imho and we all know that Vitali has a granite chin. I think Vitali would knock Haye out, he's far more willing to throw that big right hand than Wlad is and is willing to take a punch to do so.

I'd actually be surprised if Haye took on a fight against Vitali........ i'm sure both he and Booth felt the Wlad matchup was the better option.

I don't think he'd beat him, but this is an ageing slowing version of Vitali, who is clearly on the decline. This version of Vitali is pretty different one from the one of the Lewis fight.

    Anyway, Lewis beat him.

There were lots of people before the fight who thought Vitali was a better style match up for Haye. Vitali has slowed a lot the past few years.

If you call cut caused by illegal headbutt a legit win then you are right.

You are damn biased man. Lennox was trying to headbutt Vitali all night and finally caught him.

Can't happen , how can Haye promote it? He can't do the trash talking again? Not with a straight face anyway. The UK press are taking the **** out of him which is a direct result of his mouth and actions.

The public wont buy it. How can sky market it? You cant trash talk and pull stunts like Haye and not win the fight.

The whole thing is a complete P.R disaster for Haye.

You might want him to fight Vitali, but honestly I dont see how it can work.

The public have very short memories, are very fickle, tables turn very quickly. If the Audley fight still attracted attention after his totally farcical career, the junk he repeatedly speaks yet never backs up, anything can.

Of course it would be nowhere near as big as the Wlad fight, but it would probably bring more money to the table than any other HW match ups right now.

Haye is probably more well known today in the UK than he has ever been. He may well be disliked by them, but Haye's clearly broken into the public's conscience. Not all that many boxers break through to attain that level of attention/potential market nowadays. Boxing today on the whole is pretty much a minority sport.

I think there would still be a fair level of interest in a fight with Vit, at least relative to what many other boxers attract nowadays. Clearly Vit's manager and promoter thinks so too.

Whether the Haye or Klit camps could ever agree on terms is another matter.

I wanted to see Vitali Vs. Haye in the first place. I would pay to see Vitali fight Haye, Vitali would walk right through Haye and knock him out, but it would be exciting while it lasts!!!!!!!

Its an easy fight to make, a natural progression....people are as likely to tune in wanting to watch Haye getting KO'ed by the brother of the man who couldn't as they are to support him....their money is the same colour as Hayes fans. Its drama, its personal and its a marketing mans ****ing dream. Vitali will be the one talking the trash in this...its **** easy to make, my kids could push this fight.
