    For the legion of Klitschko Haters, it's been a tough 7 years.

    You know the names of the people who were going to "save" the glamorous heavyweight division from the "boring" brothers with the 83% and 88% (highest KO % in heavyweight history) knockout percentages:

    * Kirk Johnson
    * Sam Peter
    * Chris Byrd
    * Calvin Brock
    * Hasim Rahman
    * Chris Arreola
    * Eddie Chambers
    * Kevin Johnson
    * Shannon Briggs
    * Odlanier Solis
    * David Haye

    All have been dispatched, including the famed Lennox Lewis, who retired after escaping with a victory in a bout he was losing against Vitali Klitschko in 2003.

    Lewis was lucky, though. He is the only man that the brothers have fought and not defeated. Lewis knew when to get out.

    The others?

    Not so lucky.

    The Klitschkos combined record is 98-5-0 [88]. Incredible.

    They hold all 4 major heavyweight belts.

    Their dominance of the top division in the sport is total.

    As we all know, there are many who would like to see the brothers fail. Those who still hold out hope that the "old" Wladimir will reappear, these 7 years later. Those who may be eager to see Vitali retire, or have one of his previous injury episodes recur.

    However, with Wladimir's dominating victory against an outgunned David Haye, one question looms above all others:

    Who's going to challenge the Klitschkos now?

    Haye was the latest "Savior," and he was easily handled this past Saturday night by Wlad in front of a reported 55,000+ fans in Hamburg, Germany's Imtech Arena.

    Haye and Wladimir were each paid well for the bout, reportedly earning between $15-20 million (or maybe it's in Pounds) or more for the fight.

    The brothers are wealthy. They are revered in their adopted home of Germany and their native Ukraine. They are well-regarded throughout much of Europe and around the world. They're smart, educated, fit and healthy.

    What they really need or crave is a challenge. Wladimir said as much after Saturday's bout, lamenting the fact that Haye did not provide as much of a test as Wladimir hoped that Haye would.

    So who's next? Is there anyone out there in the next 3 years or so who can interrupt the Decade Of Dominance which the Klitschkos seem to be in the midst of at this time?

    Haters, weigh in. Do you still have hope? Are you just resigned to waiting for the Klitschkos to retire?

    Who will you look to now with Haye having fallen short?

    Theres other divisions that are dominated by 2 champions today eg. when Khan and Judah face each other there will be 2 guys miles ahead of everyone else.Then people will expect Bradley and the Khan/Judah winner to face each other.If Vlad and Vitali dont wish to face each other and cannot fight in a lower weight then there is no one else.They have beaten everyone at heavy and are now half way through beating the top guys from cruiser.Might aswel retire.

    I dont know we might have to appeal to Al Qaeda in order to save the heavyweight division.

    Even Al Qaeda militants must lament how far the heavyweight divison has fallen and might want to put a stop to whats destroying boxing.

    Haye has the power and defensive skills to make Wlad fight extremely cautiously, and even in defeat, Haye can still bring in more money and generate more interest than anyone else out there.

    Haye is not a savior, but given his attributes, he is the only real threat to Wlad.

    There are no other threats, besides Haye.

    There's a lot of fighters that will annihilate the Klitschkos over the next few years, I've seen many threads about them on ESB.

    Ali, Holmes, Frazier, Foreman, Tyson, Lewis, and even Primo Carnera will continue to beat the brothers by way of one and two round KO's for years to come!

    Your post was fine until the last sentence. Why not keep dominating? Wlad is still prime and can complete unification in 2-3 years. He will have unified one belt at a time which is quite exceptional.

    Exactly. Well, the first time Chisora shattered his Glass Back without even hitting him. And the second time he clearly pussied out so he could fight Britain's second best heavy instead.
