I personally think Tyson would find a way through and be able to knock him out, but I know lots of people disagree
Yes I respect Tyson, and I believe he's the best ever. But after this fight, I don't know, Wlad proved that he can deal with very fast opponents
That's true. And Tyson would be more aggressive, which also leaves him open more. Plus, Wladimir would have a huge reach advantage, TEN INCHES, on Tyson..and if anyone could take full advantage of that, it would be Wladimir.
Wlad wins by mid to late KO. Tyson struggled against tall fighters, struggled and usually lost to top 5 prime fighters.
I think it's time to really start considering Wlad as one of the tall time greats. He's been practically untouchable for five years now. Untouchable. To that point, he practically fights one handed. This version of Wlad gives ANYONE in history a major, major challenge. Only a fresh Ali or a prime Holmes would compete. Someone who moves and uses the jab as the primary would stand a chance. Although I love early Tyson's style, we was prone to getting caught coming in from time to time. I think Wlad would check-hook him and finish him with a right cross.
Tyson slips Klitschko's jab and unlike the utterly mediocre Haye (who has the front-front footwork of a 5 year old) and Chagaev, uses his footwork to get inside. He'd chop Klitschko down to the body before bringing up the bombs upstairs. This is not a good matchup for Klitschko if we're talking about a Rooney-trained Mike Tyson, who was in another dimension in terms of footspeed, handspeed, combination punching, body punching, and true skill. Wladimir would look so tentative, reluctant, and stiff with an animal like Mike.
Tyson by murder! David Haye showed us that Wladimir is helpless against a fast little fighter with big punch power. Haye said he never lost to a East Euro. That's nothing! Tyson never lost to a "Crackhead!"
