    again most people can't read

    for the record I define a boxer as anyone who steps into the ring, doesn't matter about their style, they are all boxers.

    Other than pac and mayweather sergio martinez is the one who stands out for me.

    Froch is probably the best 'fighter', taking on all comers and showing a true warrior spirit. Technically, the best boxer active at the moment is PBF, he has a fight in September so however you want to argue it, he is active. After that, I would pick Sergio. Interestingly, there are not a great deal of slick boxers coming through the ranks at the moment so it may be we will be watching a different style of fights for a while. I'm interested to see how Golovkin gets on as he develops and Canelo has looked quite impressive but needs to step up now.

    Damn. Nobody has even mentioned Andre Ward yet. I guess that shows how respected he is.

    Andre Ward is so talented, but he needs to step out of the shelter. Fight outside of Oakland. Win this tourney, beat Bute, and look impressive doing so. Then maybe he could be the P4P king...IMO.
