He will be remembered good I think by most sensible boxing fans anyway. Undisputed cruiserweight champion and held a strap at heavyweight. I dont give a **** a 2 weight world champion should be given respect. There are fighters that have never got past British title level and are spoken about like they are gods. A fighters career shouldnt be judged on 1 fight.

I don't think will forget his big mouth and his full heavyweight career has been pretty pish and lacking in any entertainment value.

As a cruiser weight he desrves a lot of respect though- especially for travveling to JMM's backyard and knocking him out the way he did.

You average man in the street is only going to rememeber him for Valuev, Harisson and Wlad and they 3 fights were a joke.

A good British fighter. A very decent cruiser, not as effective at heavy.

I very much doubt he will make the HOF.

As far as his performance against Wlad goes: now the dust is settling, looking around the various forums on here, there seems to be a fair few long standing posters giving him credit for some parts of his performance (they're not Haye fans either). As the trash talk gets forgotten with time, Haye's fight performance will get judged more on it's merits and the truth is, it wasn't that poor, it wasn't good, but wasn't that bad either. He did some things well, his defense was pretty impressive, but he fell short on offense. He gave Wlad his toughest test for a while, but just wasn't good enough in the end to win.

His toe comment will probably stick with him too, it really was a stupid comment and a total PR disaster for Haye.

Oh yeah true. I think he's a decent fella but Booth is brains of operations and David is a bit silly with mouth at times. I won't hate on lad he's local and done good for himself. Good luck to him.

Under 30 fights and he's raked in cash and a few belts. I wouldn't mind that .

European Champ with several defences. Unified Cruiserweigh champion. Heavyweight champion and defended it once (maybe twice depending on your opinion). 1 massive and two decent grossing ppv paydays. Own brand which will make him a fair wedge. Not bad for someone who has less than 30fights. The general public will remember him as a talker who couldnt back it up. A small minority of boxings fans will have the same view but the vast majority of us will remember he was an exciting fighter to watch who did achieve an awful lot for sum1 with poor fitness levels and a glass chin.
