Very true. Almost every bigger fight he ever had he was the under-dog and just keeps proving the critics wrong. Would be awesome if this was the case this time. Vitali might be a little difficult to chew, though. The big Ukrainian is pretty bad ass. Hopefully this is the fight where his age will start to show.
I suppose the fights with Solis, Briggs, Sosnowski and Johnson were very constructive. Out of all these people it is Adamek who has the best record and the best championship pedigree. Unlike all these people, he will bring it and leave it all in the ring. Actually, outside of Lewis, one could make a very strong case that Adamek is the most accomplished boxer Vitali will ever face.
What the hell are you talking about. He was moving backwards but would stop and trade punches with Arreola and throw combinations. Adamek doesnt have great power but its not like he is feather fisted. He did put Golota down twice and scored TKO, doesnt matter how faded Golota was, he is a big bloke. Maddalone too was down and TKOed. At CW Adamek had very respectable power. Knocked out Johnatan Banks, scored 3 knockdows vs Cunningham, 1 knockdown vs Dawson, 1 knockdown vs O'neil Bell.
I agree, the fight will be much better than Wlad-Haye. Win or lose, Adamek will be fighting to the end and will take the risk.
And why is that? Because he was caought once in the 12th round ? Adamek dominated Grant with his speed. Same would happen in the rematch, probably even more clear decision for Adamek.
