That's their own fault for betting on a sport they have no ****ing idea about.

That's the problem with the armchair fans, they don't follow the sport properly and believe all the hype.

I heard loads in the pub last night saying they'd never heard of Wlad so he couldn't be any good.....idiots.

That shows what kind of state boxing is in today.

In tenns let's say, "armchair fans" really don't have to think twice if it's hype or substance, when they sit down to watch the QFs they'll see the world's best 8, in the SFs the best 4, in the final the best 2, and ultimately the best wins. We need the non-regular fans to buy boxing tickets, do boxing ratings and fill bars to watch boxing, but for them to stay we need performances in the ring, something Haye failed to deliver. I don't give a damn about Pacquiao or Mayweather breaking records, in fact it's terrible if they do 1.000.000 buys only to disappoint crowds over and over again with **** performances, some of them never to pay again. Boxing needs the hype to sell and Haye did a great job. Great job! But for actually WINNING fans even in losing, he failed miserably.

IF we believe him. But my God did he get it from Dan Rafael! I've never seen such an outrageous lack of professionalism from a journalist both in the post-fight article and the weekend scorecard.

    Haha spot on.

The only people mad about the fight need to watch boxing more, get a better understanding of the pre-hype build up vs the actual fight.

    Agree with the opening post.

It's funny how Haye accused Audley Harrison of single handedly destroying boxing on BBC, yet in his last two fights, he himself has single handedly destroyed whatever respect boxing had amongst the British public.
