Thought I'd contribute to the ongoing Klitschko-fest.

Vitali and Wladimir versus the best heavies of the seventies. How would they do against -

    Ali 1974
    Frazier 1971
    Foreman 1974
    Norton 1976
    Young 1977
    Holmes 1979

    ?

    Ali stops him.
    Frazier stops him.
    Foreman drops a decision.
    Norton gets KTFO.
    Young gets stopped.
    Holmes outpoints him.

It would be so stinky... Wlad-Haye would smell like roses in comparison.

I'm trying to eat lunch, guys.

I don't find them nearly as similar as many, I guess. I'd never bother lumping them up like these threads do tend to. Aside from big and white, they're quite different to me.

Wlad suprisingly gives earlly to mid 70s all he wasnts but loses a close decison.... THink Geroge would imtimedate and urn through Wlad....Although Young has even better bosing skills tha Wlad,, He just too small, light puchng to really bother WLad much., ,,, WLAD abd norton is a good one but ill take Wlad by Ko. .... In 79 HOlmes was already the best hw... Bur he had not qute peaked yet. Early 80s Holmes wins a cmepterive and close decison... But Wlad scores a razor close on voer the 79 Holmes.

As Vitali ... He just might beat a youg dumb, alnd devastating monster like George, once he shoot his load and fades.. I have Geroge top 5 hw all time and Vitali maybe top 15 sy best.. . ... BUt style wise Vitali bight be all wrong for Foremann ...Vitali might get a liate stoppage or decision.
Vitali too big for YOung,... WHo makes Vitali look bad, put not enough guns... Vitali manhandles him later in the fight to pull out an unimpressive btu competetiv decision.. With Futch in his corner Norton has a great strategy for Vitali and almost scores the upset, but Vitali stooms back and stops Norton Late...... Ali scholls Vitali and makes him like a glorified lumbering clubfighter..... 79 Holmes takes close but comforttable decision over Vitali.

Ive always been kind of stumped on how Fraizer would do vs them... Does smokig Joe fight his heart out and reach the much biggr Wlad to score a kO? Or is i t unfair matchup,, where no matter how much better Joe is he is just to damn small.l... More likely than not he just takes too much puhishment trying to get oo the Giants and eventually is laid out.. .. But he puts up a better match and lastes longer against the K bros than he did Big George.

As u can see Both bros have mixed results... Vitali strenghts seem to be Wlass weakness,, And kind of vice versa

They stop everyone except from Ali and maybe except from Foreman.
With Foreman it could go either way for both , every outcome is possible .
Ali loses a decision to either one.
Chuvalo might have lasted the distance .

Personally, i think it's unfair to put fighters such as the Klit bros, who have only fought 12 round bouts, into 15 round fantasy fights.

    Wlad:

    Ali UD
    Foreman KO3
    Holmes MD

The rest he stops apart from Frazier which is a 50/50 fight that could go either way I think.

    Vitali:

    Ali UD
    Foreman TKO7
    Holmes SD

He stops Norton, and wins two very close decisions against Young and Frazier.

believe it or not they would be very competitive and may upset a few. I like Vlad against Holmes. I like Vitali against Foreman and a careful Vlad could bring George into the deep waters.

Frazier would be open to getting hit and that's not a good thing vs the reach and power of the K's ...Norton would get KO'd and Young survives to a decision loss. Ali had the cutting punches and this could be a factor but Ali also never faced talented Big men like the brothers and would be out-sized and outweighed like David Haye was.

The Klitschko's have had good amateur pedigree and are now experienced professionals and Vladimir is nearing his prime. I don't think we will see very good big men like them for a while and while I am not a size guy these guys carry it well.

    Wlad vs

    Ali 1974 - no way
    Frazier 1971 - no way
    Foreman 1974 - no way

    He would beat Norton 1976
    He would beat Young 1977
good and tough fight against Holmes 1979, but I lean towards Holmes here..

    Both lose to Ali.

    Both destroy Frazier.

I like Vitali over Foreman more than Wlad but favor both over Foreman.

They both beat everyone else. Holmes has the best chance but doesn't get it done.
