    what, good God, 45 million and only two boxers of any note? And those two share 50% of their DNA?

    How dire.

    So far, no seems to really comprehend the true dynamics of the What/Where/Why/How of Russia's financial and governmental collapse to actually present an intelligent and logical alternative reality based on these critical events not happening.
    As example;
    Had the USSR not collapsed, there would be far less Russians and Europeans being accepted as immigrants into the USA.

    Or, had Russia not collapsed, it would likely indicate the Russian mobsters did not steal and embezzle most of Russia's treasury, property and assets, and they would not have had the level of finance to manipulate the former Soviet boxing environment.
    They would not have had enough cash to bribe Don King into railroading Ike Iabebucci.

    Since a few WANTED Russian Billionaire Mobsters escaped and ran off to live in England, very likely they effect that boxing environment also.

    Purity would still have 20 so loses, Brewster would have still lost to likes of Clifford Etienne and Sanders was destroyed by Rahman.

    To summarize. They wouldn’t be titans in this alternative universe. Sanders and Brewster wouldn’t have necessarily been even belt holders, without fall of Soviet Union

    It would be more relevant if it showed also the amateur HW per country. Some countries like US have culture where people go professionals easier. While some other countries only elite amateurs go to professional ranks

    Btw Why there is no Latvian HW. Basically every card in Finland has horrible Latvian boxers some HW who come to get their ass kicked

    What the OP fails to mention is that these are guys are still garbage...this definitely not how the HW division would be portrayed.

    Those 'Russian' Mobsters you speak of aren't really Russian are they?
    Abromovich, Usminov, Khodorkovsky, Khlebnikov, Luzhkov etc...

    All the above 'Russians' seem to have something in common don't they?
