What do you think, and why? :bbb
Tyson. But, Bruce Seldon is NOT one of his top 10 wins. atsch Bruno II, Golota, Botha, Tubbs are better wins than Bruce Seldon.
:-( Spinks proved himself at heavyweight by twice beating serious hw ATG Larry Holmes Haye proved himself at heavyweight by beating a shot Monte Barrett, a shot John Ruiz, and barely scraping the decision vs the worst heavyweight champion ever, Valuev The very idea that these two were on an equal footing at hw is ridiculous. :nut
Golota win got changed to an NC, Botha was shot, Tubbs was not as good as Seldon, the only one you have a case with is Bruno II but I didn't see the point in putting him in again same as I didn't bother including Peter II for Wlad, those 2nd fights told us nothing that the 1st wins didn't.
I think u have to put Thompson on that list over Byrd 2 (shell) and 2003 version of Ray Mercer imo (and probably over ibrag and brock to be hones). there's some holes in each list, but i'd agree with you
Spinks was a far, far superior fighter to Haye, he's a nailed on ATG and his heavy weight resume is far more impressive than Haye's as well with beating the likes of Holmes. On top of that Tyson totally destroyed him, Wlad won in a non eventfull, pretty unimpressive pts win, where many of the rounds were fairly close.
Wow! One more fantasy thread by a Klitschko hater who can't take Wladimir being the best. I stay in the real world, but if you want to believe it go ahead....
You'll have a hard time convincing many people that Mercer was a better win for Wlad than Holmes was for Tyson, considering that in 1992, a 43 year old so-far-past-it Holmes UD'd a prime 31 year old Mercer. Holmes never had another meaningful win in his career after that, while going in Mercer was coming off his big stoppage win over Tommy Morrison.
Eh?! :nut How is asking people for their answer on who has the better set of wins between Tyson and Wladimir a "fantasy thread by a hater"?!! I think you've lost the plot son.
Tyson TKO2 is the real result. Golota fight being changed to NC was bull****. How the **** do they think smoking a spliff enhanced Tyson's performance?? :huhBeing stoned makes you slower and LESS explosive. Botha "shot" is 1999? :huh That is bull****. Botha beat Shannon Briggs in his next fight, but was robbed by **** judges. Lennox Lewis gave Botha a title shot at the undisputed world titles in 2000, he was a valid top contender. If Botha was "shot" by YOUR standards in 1999, then Brewster was "shot" in 2007 And Byrd was also "shot" in 2006. Think about that now. Tubbs was better than Seldon even in 1991 when he gave Prime Bowe a super close fight. Tyson fought Tubbs in 1988, closer to his 1985 best. Bowe KTFO Seldon in 1 round in 1991. Oh and did i forget to say, Past-prime Tubbs beat Seldon by UD in 1992. :deal
Well because of the Kilts' dominance, we cannot really tell how good or bad a lot of the heavyweights are... all we can tell is that they are not elite like the two brothers (who are head and shoulders above the rest of the group)... BUT looking at the notable names on Tyson's list like Bruno... Spinks.. and Holmes (no matter what anyone says about him).. you have to go wtih Tyson's list.... Wladimir's list is more like a compliation of pretty good fighters in the era who lost to his hands... but no serious champion/ HOF/ or ATG..... just good fighters in a crop of this era who all lost to him.... so we can say Wlad beat the best in his era.. but a crop of fighters that are no where near the best or proven when compared to all eras.... TYSON
