Who put on a better performance: Haye vs. Wlad or Arreola vs. Vitali

Easy question. Arreola by far. Your own explanation is the answer. Chris ACTUALLY fought*!

 

At least Byrd came to fight and put up a fight, unlike Haye who ran away most of the fight...

 

Should have put Arreola now that I think about it, he gave it his all, Haye gave up after round 3 or 4.

 

haye. all arreola did was walk forward while getting hit in the face a thousand times. it wasn't a fight in the slightest. watching haye vs wlad for the whole twelve rounds, you knew a punch could change everything... it didn't happen, but at least it kept you on the edge of your seat. arreola just got beat up, and never challenged vitali in any way shape or form.

 

Haye easily put up the more competitive fight and did some things in regards to defence very well.

If we are voting on which fighter stood there like a punch bag getting his head bashed in, then it's Chris easily.

 

Haye brought the power but he didn't bring his balls or his heart.

Arreola brought what he had + the balls and heart Haye has never had.

 

Arreola was going forward throwing punches unlike a retreating Haye who barley threw punches. If Haye would of gave even half the effort Arreola did against Vitali, we would of had a more entertaining fight.

 

Well, it depends. Arreola did indeed come forward, only with no skill and no plan. Haye was very, very skilled defensively and had a clear plan, but wasn't busy enough.

 

This is the sweet science, it's about hitting and not getting hit.

At least Haye got the not getting hit part right.

Anyway, it's a silly question because Wlad and Vit are two different fighters, Vit turns up to fight, is willing to ship punches, is more often than not fairly entertaining, whereas Wlad hides behind a jab, is highly defensive, stinking the place out and wearing his opponent down.

Wlad and VIt fight very differently, if they'd both fought Wlad or Vit it would be a bit more of a valid question. As it stands they both fought two different men with very different styles.

 

Arreola came forward against the fighter with the highest KO% in history. He threw everything and the kitchen sink at Vitali and went out on his shield.

Haye on the other hand, ran from a fighter with a suspect chin, horrible gaps in his interior defense, and threw only suckerpunches once or twice a round.

I don't think this thread should even be in question.

His only choice was to be a human punch bag, do you seriouly think he chose not to dance around the ring like Floyd or use his sharp reflex defense.

As Floyd says, there's nothing to be proud about in getting beat up.

 

I think people have forgot about Vitali vs Arreola already. All I remember was a fat turd getting beaten to pulp and then crying after the fight.
