Who has the better resume, Wlad or Frazier?

Frazier takes it. His era (67-72) wasn't overly great imo. However he managed to beat a great fighter none the less and that win at that time surpasses wlad's top ten put together.

Frazier is greater than wlad as it stands. Both have been the best for 5 years, both unified the belts. However frazier has ali on his win sheet and that's the difference.

 

I reckon smokin joe just becuase fighters were much tougher back then

 

Frazier by a clear edge... But it would have been Wlad no doubt if Frazier didnt have Ali on his resume..

 

A better question would be: who has the better resume, Haye or Samuel Peter?

 

Giving Ali his first loss shits over anything Wlad could ever do

Frazier has a resume which eclipses wlad's and it aint really debatable.

Fraizer has a win over an ATG and in my opinion the number 1 heavy ever....

He also was the undisputed linear champ and it was much easier then with (only 2, I think) belts at the time versus today with 4+ belts and more fickle promoters.

I think that its clear though looking at Wlads resume he has fought everyone good there is to fight over the last 6 years, people ***** about his opposition but those are the best available.

I think wlad will remain unbeaten for the foreseeable future because he's just levels above the other heavyweights atm, but right now there is no way he has a better resume than smoke.

Frazier's resume is clearly better. Frazier fought in an era where fighters had to earn a title shot, unlike today where you can just keep fighting journeymen until your turn comes round and a Klitschko gives you a shot. Frazier's level of opposition where simply much more proven due to this factor.

Throw in the Ali win and it's not even close.

 

Frazier's win over Ali is a much greater win than what that walking Tin Man, Wlad, can ever hope of achieving.

 

Take Ali off and Frazier's resume becomes paper thin. Win other Ali was a great accomplishment but a single win does not make the resume. Buster Douglas didn't make to HOF after all.
