Dont Know What Booth And Haye Were Thinking

On SAT night u saw the line between a good fighter and a great figher.

U saw the line between a hype motor mouth *** and a true HW champ.

And the line was BIG>

 

i remember all the people saying they couldnt wait for what the "master" adam booth had planned

 

dark lord thought of a plan:

"If Klit gets too close floop on the floor DAVID and pretend u want to blow him!"

"I can do that, had plenty of practice."

 

Booth and Haye knew what they had too do to give David the best chance of winning.
It's called "strategy". Corrie Sanders just hit the lottery and Haye and Booth knew it too...

The Corrie Sanders thing gets thrown around way too much. He was a powerful southpaw who caught Wlad at a time where he had ZERO idea how to extend a fight hurt.

I'd never take away a win from someone, but for all intensive purposes, Sanders got lucky and what happened can never be replicated. Wlad has changed.

 

If you watch the fight Sanders only let his hands go after he seen he hurt Wladimir. Before that he was running just like Haye......

 

I think they believed that one power punch from Haye would put Wlad down.

As for the Sanders comparison, there are quite a few differences between him and Haye.

1). Sanders was a southpaw
2). Sanders' punches were much faster than Haye's mostly due to the fact that his punches had to travel less distance to the target, as Sanders wasn't throwing wide looping haymakers.
3). Sanders had a better chin and wasn't afraid to engage.
4). Sanders punched harder too.

 

There is a reason why nobody has come out there and blew Wlad away like that... because he isn't the same fighter anymore and he isn't going to come out lazy and let it happen again. It's called learning from a loss.

Besides that... Corrie Sanders DID in fact back away from Wlad with his back along the ropes... backpedaling, baiting Wlad to come in sloppy and make mistakes... which is exactly what happened. Corrie didn't get aggressive until AFTER he caught Wlad and had him stunned. The nonense going around that Corrie just ran at Wlad at the bell and went all out attack is just that... a myth. Nobody has EVER beat Wlad like that.

What you see people trying to do to Wlad, is what Corrie Sanders did. Back up... play defense, and try to capitalize on his mistakes. The problem is that Wlad doesn't let himself get overextended like he used to. Also, against Sanders... Wlad was being lazy and throwing pointless power punches without setting them up or even bothering to make sure the punch was available. Clearly he felt that he was just going to sit Sanders on his ass early with a big shot and go home... just like everyone else though. It's a learning experience that he needed.

 

Sanders was a better fighter than Haye if you watch the Vitali fight he has him out on his feet in the first round as well. Its the way he fights he looks for his opening and when it comes he lets it go he fights the same way every time and if it doesn't work he is finished by round 4.

 

Haye doesnt have the tools to fight that kind of fight . He doesn't know how to fight inside. I wasn't surprised at all by the way he fought . The fight went exactly how I expected - both guys being tentative looked for one right hand bomb.
