October 1st on the Martinez/Barker undercard (which is down to occur in Houston Texas according to boxrec) seems a strange place to have it. I know Vera is a Texan but is he a draw. I thought Foxwoods would have made more sense.

The list is growing by the day, so far today I have heard Gary Hyde, Brian Peters and now Daniel Halpin. The only one that I can safely say is not interested is Daniel Halpin because I spoke with him two days ago.

Of those three only Hyde has a chance in hell id say.Hyde would be a good move for Willy and that could be Hydes big headline for sept 3rd.

peters waxed lyrical about Anto Fitz and Willie of late. Esp Willie 'first man since bernard dunne to transend the sport" "what a character" etc.

Dbrady has jamie kavanagh ever sparred frankie gomez ??? that would make a great match up in the future with gomez going down to lightweight recently . I know they boxed on the same card a while back.

I actually think there fairly similar style wise but gomez probably hits a bit harder , kavanagh will get better with experiance as will gomez , it could be an intresting fight in a few years , but I agree as of now gomez wins.
