Eddie Hearn told me the following on Twitter when I asked him about the fight:

Most likely 29th October, AC for Carl…. Hope to confirm very soon.

Shame, Carl deserves Vegas…. I dont understand why the S6 final isnt being held there.

Showtime haven't been able to market the super six as much as they'd liked but it's been difficult because none of the fights have been that great.

Shame it's not in Vegas though but at least it's a bit further for Ward to travel himself.

Went in september. Is ok for a couple of nights. Bit of a shithole but good nightlife. Tropicana on the sat night will be packed with birds.

If you're going for a while i'd stay in nyc. Ac for a week would be too long. It's not very big.

It's due to UFC being booked into Vegas according to Froch.

Yeah because UFC and Pacquiao/Marquez are both headlining Vegas in November.

Yeah east coast is better, if your planning on spending the week, fly and stay in New York, spend the Sat night in AC, maybe Friday also if you want to see the weigh-in/ gamble a bit, there is a plush train from New York to AC at week ends $40 or so takes 2hrs 30mins, so no need to fly again. Pretty much ideal venue for Brits

They should put it on the Doncaster dome with junior witter on the undercard.
